“I am not happy. I am not unhappy. I am frozen somewhere in the middle that is so much worse. I am nowhere. Nothing is happening and I am getting more and more sad.”—Samantha Schutz, I Don’t Want to be Crazy (via heruin)
“If you don’t get excited when you’re about to kiss someone then you probably shouldn’t be kissing them. It should get you riled up inside and should not be mediocre.”—Crazy Sexy Khool (via crazysexykhool)
“I want you to hold my hand while we grocery shop. I want you to play with my hair while we watch our favorite tv shows. I want you to kiss me in the middle of my sentence because you wanted to taste my words. I want you to rub my back as we fall asleep. I want you to play my favorite song when I look sad. I want you to do these things without having to think about them. Do them because you love me.”—(via jessielou24)
“When I first got this role I just cried like a baby because I was like, “Wow, next Halloween, I’m gonna open the door and there’s gonna be a little kid dressed as the Falcon.” That’s the thing that always gets me. I feel like everybody deserves that. I feel like there should be a Latino superhero. Scarlett does great representation for all the other girls, but there should be a Wonder Woman movie. I don’t care if they make 20 bucks, if there’s a movie you’re gonna lose money on, make it Wonder Woman. You know what I mean, ’cause little girls deserve that.”—
And in regards to Wonder Woman, DC has said people wouldn’t want to see a Wonder woman move…which, by people, they mean their idea of “fanboys”.
Which, is honestly, an extremely poor excuse. People nowadays aged over at least twenty grew up with Lynda Carter on television as Wonder Woman, either in syndication or in re-runs, so they are very aware of the character even if they don’t follow comic books…not to mention she’s the female member of the “Big Three” and the most prominently represented and marketed female comic character by DC.
I think listening to actual people saying what they would like to see out of a movie, instead of assuming, would be a big step for DC. If Marvel can accomplish that, why can’t the other big company?
